Got HEADUNIT?

So ive been working a lot lately... new JOB *UPS*
but i was looking at this headunit i wanted to buymeself for christmas.
Ebay.JVC
so i was wondering if anyone had this headunit. or tried it.. seen it... (not on display board).

im really thinking about it...

It has detachable face... and the face plays DVD'S
(so i dont get jacked)
or else id get a alpine double din iva-200

But to many people steals cars not worth my car getting jacked.
I love my Girl.

I dont have full coverage either.

SOoo eeerr

Thanks guys.

eh, I dont think its worth it. the screen is just too small and impractical. You could get a 6.5"-7" flip out, if youre worried about theft, or you could try to go for a really clean install so that it looks OEM. I think a double din unit looks a lot cleaner that a flip out

But for not having incusrance, it may be worth it to just get that. I just don't see spending that much for a 3" screen, but it's not a bad idea if the face comes off

looks like a nice unit... but from past experiences with JVC headunits ive learned that over a couple of months the skip protection isnt that great. any mild bump would send ur CD skippin'... just my 2 cents

yup.. damn near $200 a month for me (on my 02 tl-s) when paid 6 months at a time... I bet yours is a bit cheaper.

back to the HU, I agree with the others... way too small. Just picture yourself trying to watch something on that... its like trying to watch a movie on my digital camera screen. I also think a nice in dash flip screen unit would be great with minimal theft

Damn, you must have lots of tickets or something, or just that you're 18. I pay $260 a month for full coverage on 2 cars, and I pay by month, it's cheaper if i pay 6 months at a time. It's about to drop to $200 a month though, after the begining of the year
