i Got most of the speakers in and also my coilovers. Today i got in my Brembo Rotors and Pads. I'm waiting on my struts to get in and then it's going LOW. Will post pics when installed.

i was thinking the same thing they look like those ebay coilovers.

 

I know the owner of dropzone and he gave me a free set of coilovers. He also gave me a set of tokico struts that i'm waiting to come in. IT REALLY does feel like christmas in MAY.

this is actually the second acura cl that i've owned, i never knew about this site until about a year ago,but i had already got rid of the other one. I had a 98 also with Ground Control coilovers and 18" Neeper titans on it. It was slammed and if you guys want pictures i will post some up of what it looked like. They told me it was the baddest CL in miami at the time. But anyways i'll post pics of when i'm done with this one. Hopefully next week i get everything installed.

spyro how much are those coilovers? out of curiousity. im going a different route for suspension but im helping a fellow 1st genner fix up his car too.

god I remember having the longest argument with that dude over his spinners. He kept saying how his spinners weren't adapters, he was so damn stubborn about it

 

no actually he finishesd building that cl after i did. He in my opinion went over board on it but i guess to each his own. WHen i get home i will post pics of the other cl i had.

 

oh germ i'm sure the coilovers are not that expensive. he actually gave me the set for free for my car but on ebay they should be pretty cheap. i'm not going too crazy on this car cause it's my everyday. just the simple stuff wheels suspension and system nothing much.

excuse my ignorance but whats the difference between coil overs and coil over sleeves?

 

coilovers come with struts in them. and sleeves are like adjustable springs, they fit over another strut(ie they dont come with struts)

 

yeas spence that's a ported box for 2 12" i ordered the L7 2 ohm.....

 

ohh my bad i just saw the one side to it. didnt really look closely. i thought it was a single sealed enclosure. Nice! i had one of the 2 ohms, it was outta control loud.

in my opinion that's the best way to build a car...get all the stuff you want to put on it and then send it all in to be put on the same day. rather than putting one thing on at a time. That's the way i mostly built all my stuff.
