going to pull-a-part

I need to know if the heated seat plug from a 96 or 97 Acura TL will work for a 97 switch? or if anyone knows. If it wont I will not even go look because it quite a drive to go but if I can find that plug it will be well worth it to me. They do not have any CL's and I have never seen a CL there but they do have these two TL's

I have the switch, I am looking for the plug that plugs into the switch, but I am guessing if the switch is different the plug will be as well. the 97 is different that the 98-99 and this is where I am running to a problem. I really do not want to just jerry rig the wires to the switch even though I am going to have to wire up the heaters in the seat but I may end up having to if I can't find this plug soon

How far you driving? You check RPM of lumberton? They probably still have the CL I ripped a transmission out of.

Pull-A-Part is about a 45 minute drive for me. I live near Gastonia NC which is south of Charlotte down I-85. Was it a 97? if so I will check wit6h them. Is it a pull a part place or do they go out and get the part for you like allot of the other junk yards?

hell I can't find the damn thing anywhere, even asked on here and can't find one. I have driven to Tennessee to get parts for my 69 Super Bee when I was restoring it because no one else had the part anywhere. of course this was before the internet was in every house, you had to put something on what the junk yards called a hot list. I figured I could surely find any part now but thats just not the case with this plug. The super Bee is a 2 year part (most 68-69 parts would fit from a coronet(as long as it was 2 door) or Super Bee) where this is a 1 year only part, and can't find anything that will interchange. Hell I would buy the whole damn wiring harness from the plug to the seats (even though it won't plug into the heaters if I could find one, but can't find the dame thing anywhere

can you not just use the '98 switches and wiring instead since you can't find a '97?

the passenger side where the switch would goes is where the fog light switch is going (which I already have as well) If I can't find one within the next month or so I will just jerry rig up the wiring to hook to the switch but would rather have the plug if at all possible

If you can wait until Friday when I get home from New York, I can check the plug and probably get you one.

I used to live in Smithfield, in Johnston County. Right off of business 70 and 70 there are parts places that had a couple CL's in the yard. Might want to give them a call.
