Well boys, the time has come. I've been wanting a new car for awhile, and the opportunity recently arose for me to get into something new so I took it. The car will soon be out of my name and my new one will be in mine.

The new is an '01 Lexus ES300. Not really sporty, I know, but its a really nice ride and quite an upgrade IMO. Reason I went with this car is because I got it for a good deal. Pics will come eventually, but it's stocksauce right now, so nothing crazy. I don't plan on doing a whole lot to it, drop, wheels, and HIDs eventually. Same as with my Acura. I needed a car to last me through college so I figured this was a good choice.

The good news is I'm selling the Acura to my brother, so it'll still be in the family. Any updates to the car that he does (which will be slim) I'll share with you guys, so I'll still be around. The community here is too nice to really leave.

Congrats on the new car. I always liked the black ES with the dark grey side skirts and front lip. I think it's the "sport edition" or something like that. Does yours have the projector headlights?

Thanks guys! Nah, it doesn't have projectors, I wish it did. I wont do a lip kit for a very long time, seeing as full kits are around $3000 Mods definitely seem more expensive. The stock wheels I hate, so those may be the first to go. I'm going to pay the car off before I mod it, so it'll be a good year before anything happens. As soon as something does happen though, you guys will be the first to know! No pics yet, I've been mega busy, but maybe this weekend I'll shoot some quickies.

^Couldn't agree more. The gearing is weird, acceleration sucks, but from a forty roll it's pretty powerful. It's a 3.0V6.

TRD makes an S/C for the 3.0.. although they may be hard to come by now adays. also.. dual straight pipes sound so mean. such an underrated exhaust note.
