This has not been a good week.First some ass dented up the left rear fender while I was in the store and left,then a couple of days ago I got my second speeding ticket,and now this shit.I was going to get a dvd player today at Target when a lady in a old ass Ford Contour ran a stop sign and I ran staight into here going about 40mph.Needless to say my whole front end is shot,the bumper fell off,the hood is bent in half,my windshield is cracked all on the passenger side,and the passenger door will barely open.I'm sitting here in a neck brace while I'm writing this up waiting on my muscle relaxers.This has just not been a good fuckin week.

 

yea this week has sucked, someone keyed my car a couple days ago, but theyre only little scratches up and down the middle of my driver-side door...and then i was backed into last night...my whole driver-side rear quarter panel is fucked up and my bumper now has like a 1/2 inch gap between it and the trunk.

 

there is always a silver lining. Look at it this way, now with hte momney that you guys get, you will be able to do more and better things to your cl's

 

dude man that fucking sucks..i got into an accident three days ago and fucked up my front end too...i know how you feel...it fucking sucks...hope you get better man...

 

I just found out that the lady I hit is trying to say I was speeding.Not only that but all the witnesses are saying that too.I know the speed limit is 35 but I was only doing 40.So I will probably have to end up paying for an accident that wasn't even my fault.What a merry Christmas it is.

If the Geritol Queen ran the stop sign, she is at fault. Fuck what the others say, let them work out their issues in court. An accident specialist should be able to tell roughly how fast you were going due to the amount of damage at the point of impact, skid marks, distance the cars travelled after the point of impact - hell, thats why you pay insurance, so fuckers like them don't get over and try to screw you.

sucks man, my bad, i crashed back in 2000, which was 2 months after i bought my 3.0. some ass braked as hard as his mother at the light, really paranoid, and i hit him going like 25, hood bent in half,ligts, radiator etc.. it was the worst feelng ever, i dont wish it on anyone.

 

on december 1, i spun out on an onramp in my recently painted & body kitted 'Lude.........had my car 9 days.

spun out going 75, hit a dirt embankment, fucked up my bumper, both headlights, radiatir, unibody frame, a/c condenser, knuckles, hood.....airbags popped out.......all kinds of sh!t.......and i'm fixing it myself, or my insurance will really skyrocket!

 

ya i put a box on the top of my car not realizing the staples on the buttom and i sled it over to the other side and boooooom like 25 scratchs on my rooof ;(

 

I forgot to mention that both of the airbags deployed.They cut through the dash and steering wheel.Can they be fixed?I only ask because I read in another post that when they deploy it fucks up your car.How so?

 

They 2 guys I hit head on in the summer, had no insurance,, That really sucked especially since I sustained injuries to my neck and back.

My guess is that your car will be totalled (just a guess).

BTW: dajuice27 is correct. Just because "witnesses" say you were speeding will not stand up in court. A collision expert will be able to provide info that WILL stand up in court. Good luck!

 

I went to the bodyshop today and they said that they were still looking for USED parts.Then I asked him if the car was totaled and he said that they were still trying to detrmine that.If they are still trying to detrmine whether it's totaled or not why are they looking for USED parts.

 

They finally decided that was car was not totaled.The estimate is for $9000 and they said it would take about a month.And there gonna use NEW parts.Finally some good news for a change.I also tooke pictures of the car and will try to get them posted soon.

 

For what its worth...i'll vent too

Saturday night, I'm sitting at a red light with a gas station to my right.

I see no traffic coming for a bit so i had enough time to make the right turn and i start to take off...this hick in his pick up pulls out of the gas station without taking a second look...i beep...he slams his breaks thinking someone in front of him beeped at him(i still dont' get this) and i skid my cl under his big ass dodge ram.

He has the nerves to get out and ask me why i was tailgating him...at the time i was heated, but now it just seems funny cause the dude had no clue what he was talking about.

Lucky for me, when we finally stopped jawin at each other and i told him to go get his information, some other guy quietly walks up me, says "yo, the other guy is being a real jerk and i dont' wanna deal with him, but heres my number, i saw everything...gimme a call"

As heated as i was since i'm a broke ass college student, this is my first accident and i put all my money into buying the car, I realize how lucky i am that the witness came through for me cause i know in the end its gonna be my word against the other guys debating who was on the road first(even though it was clearly me cause it took time for me to make up the distance between the corner i turned from and the driveway he pulled out of), but then i can pull out my secret weapon.....the Witness.

Another lucky thing is that his truck was so high, there was no damage to the bumper...instead, my grill is smashed and my hood is pushed in about 2 inches...and scrunched up about 3 inches but I dont' think there is any damage under the hood or any mis-alignment of the panels.

Anyway...Just hope insurance pulls through and gives this jerk majority of the blame if not all.
