its that silver or mist colour, , sofar ive don the clutch, tbelt and wpump(maintenance) just so i could make a back and forth to work. i got some plans, probably just paint and a double din for in the next few months. 4500$ sounds like you got a good deal, mind you im up north in vancouver, so its not that much of a differance when you work all that currency shit out.

thats good that you got that maintance stuff out of the way. shouldnt have to worry about much, maybe a few things here and there. F22's are very basic.

CL's are pretty pricey here. I rarely see a 3.0 for less that $12k CAD. I paid 9k for mine. If only is wasn't a hassle to import them.

Wow, 7k? thats way alot for a 97 CL with 140k miles! If you check on KBB, the 97 CL with around 150k miles is around 4,500-5,000

For those who find the metric / imperial conversion calculations a challenge, I offer up my :

Quote: Wow, 7k? thats way alot for a 97 CL with 140k miles! If you check on KBB, the 97 CL with around 150k miles is around 4,500-5,000
Currency:

$1USD = $1.20CAD, so the car was purchased for:
$5833.33USD = $7000CAD

Quote: Hah, do you understand the kph? Haha, I suck at math. i wouldnt understand
Mileage:

1.6KM = 1Mile, so this new owners whip has:
140,000KM = 87,500 Miles

Or even better, just look at the smaller Miles/Hr listed in the Speedometer gauge, instead of the primary KM/Hr

Nice post, that always kills me on here when people don't realize it's canadian money or km's and think someone paid 7K for a car with 200K miles on it or whatever

Other factors than the exchange rate are at play, such as supply and demand, popularity of used car market, and so on and so forth. Used cars are a lot cheaper on average than in Canada. For example, go to buy and sell (Canada) and check whatever American used classified and there's a major difference.
