Forbidden Short Shifter

im looking at the short shift kit made by forbidden motorsports and the answers im looking for arent on forbiddens website. for the forbidden SS owners:

1: does it come with a shift knob. either way idc. because im getting a BLOX racing shift knob. found a very good price on it.

2: does it come with a shift boot. cuz my shift boot is getting all ratty. and im tired of putting different shift knobs on my car and then the shift boot just hangs there.

It doesn't come with either of those. It is a great product though, I definately recommend it.

I did because I wanted a stock look. Get it, the shifter is great and not too expensive.

me and my friend are starting a civic project and those are the models we want.

yea there slow at first but have tons of potential of course. we really dont care what color model or trim cuz were gonna rebuild it from the ground up. but i would prefer a bubble though over the hatch.

are you gonna stick with the d-series engine or swap? and why bubble over hatch? arent hatches lighter?

and thats kickass. i've always wanted to do soemthing like that but my only car friend is the guy with the civic and he's always with his girlfriend so i rarely see him.

I know its an old post, but I'm using the search feature! . Was wondering what shifter do we get for our car (98 CL 2.3L), I'm guessing the92-96 Honda Prelude one since thats the shifter your rob in the DIY. Any additional parts needed? Thanks in advance

those greddy knobs are heavier than baseballs. i think they're even heavier than my blox knob.

I've been looking at the adapter too, I think replacing the whole things will give smother shifts from what I read. I think for my 98 I am going to grab the prelude one, seems like the best bet since its a prelude shifter we grab to swap (which I can not find unfortunately in my area). Lemme know if you get the adapter and how it works out.

Get a prelude short shifter and call it a day, don't bother with the adapters
