foglights question..
so.. I have stock fog lights on mine..
but after I put the bodykits in, I took 'em off cuz they don't fit..
so.. here's question..
if I buy some small aftermarket foglights, can they be connected w/ stock foglights harness??
i'm looking for getting piaa ones.. and can they be hooked up?? or i have to rewire everything again??
if it's possible, anyone wants my stock foglights?? w/ piaa bulbs in it??
thanks

I highly doubt PIAA lights will interface w/ stock harness. I had mine installed (on a Wrangler) at Acura for $110. PIAA has a special relay and switch that will sit somewhere, inconspicuously, in your interior.

I don't know how much I would sell 'em... never thought of selling 'em..
if the stock harness works /w piaa, I might sell the foglights only..
but if they don't work, then I'll sell whole things..
maybe.. $100ish? I don't know..
at this point, selling 'em is not the point.. I want to know if the piaa works w/ stock harness..

You can use the stock harness but only to a point. Obviously, you would have some wire splicing to do. I'm not familiar with what power requirements the piaa's have, but you may need to remove/add a fuse or two. Maybe even a relay. It will not be a simple plug and play conversion. Basically, the wires can be used but may required add-ons. It really depends if you want to cut up the existing harness.

its probably not that hard nippon.. just changing a wire here and there
we could probably install it in 1 hour.. two minds are better then one!
PIAA foglights are expensive though.. my
btw.. im pretty sure all foglights are made so any H4, H3 bulb could fit.. i hear that some foglights even take in 9006 bulbs..

As everyone has said its not as simple as plug and play. It should not be hard though. I think piaa has a fuse and a relay...and the oem setup should have both of those. So it might be as simple as just changing the wiring at the end where you plug the actual lights in.
