had a 97 that was still running strong at 290,000 miles when it got totaled by my sis. They are great cars that will run and run. I personally had no problems and didnt even have to replace the clutch until 200k

i bought the car used at 89,000 miles. I believe its the original transmission because i think my 5th gear synchro is going. i had a brand new clutch put in, now im at 99,XXX miles. Car is still running great but sometimes its knotchy when i try to put it in gear.

Got 2 Cl's
I own 2 97 Cl's a 2.2 and 3.0. My 3.0 just flew over 150,000 miles and my 2.2 is on 184,000 and she still runs great. Both are on original trannys etc. etc. Nothing repaired engine wise and the 2.2 was hit about 30,000 miles ago.

Mine is "97 2.2 5 speed, 115,000 miles with original trans
