rubbing compound works really well on some scratches that dont go below the base coat, but those look real deep and you might not accomplish too much with rubbing compound, the scratchx isn't even as strong as the compound either, good luck though

for scratches like that you might wanna use a little body filler if they're real deep, then a touch up pen to paint that, then clear coat with a pen or small foam brush, sand with 1500 grit and use compound.. thats if they're really deep

For the steering wheel, it looks like its $82.53 for a whole new body piece from www.acuraautomotiveparts.org. That doesnt seem too bad of a price, mine is worse.

speaking of steering wheel...why is it again that the 98-99's can swap to the wooden wheel but the 97s cant? whats different again? I wonder if its possible to convert the 97 to whatever the 98 has so i could get like the MDX wheel...

You can probably get some of the scratches out in the first couple of pictures. The ones that looks like it's been keyed, you'll need some filler, those are way too deep.

haha, nope, it was like that when i got it, most of it won't come out, might as well get it repainted to many stratches. just as long as it runs im don't really care, its impossible to keep the paint nice, especially if its 8 yrs old, detailed my engine and shampoo'd the inside, only thing i need to do is put my exhaust and taillight tint on

hah ask agranado, he might know

for replacements, the 97 airbag is also a different shape.. that why we can't get only the outside part of the 98-99.. its possible if you buy an airbag too but they're expensive
