Finally making money

Alright, i am officially a workin man... finally.

I've had 0 income for the last god knows how long. Some odd and end jobs which the gf usually eats any profits out of anyway. Anyways, i'm gettin money now and im gonna start workin on the car. Does anyone have some good recommendations for startin out? its still completely stock, so some ideas would really help me out.

Its a '97 3.0. Initially i'd like to start it out with some preformance, but i know very little about anything that can go into this car (so if you have recommendations, feel free NOT to abbreviate, haha).

to start...and if your not wanting to spend much $$...(ive got a 3.0 also) The engine isnt really that bad. The first thing i'd do is add tinted windows. If your going engine, add a cold air intake first...you will be amazed at the difference when you floor it and vtec kicks in

94-95 Honda Accord TEIN SS - P Coilovers.

the price will run you around 1,100-1,300 + install.

After this, I'd modify the interior- switch from a 1997 Acura CL

Center Console to a 1998/1999 Acura CL Center Console. Aftermarket

Gauges are usually a good move as well, I think the 1997 Acura CL

OEM Gauge panel is ugly. I have Gauges for sale. If you'd like a picture:

PM me with an E-mail adress.

Another idea to mod your CL would be I/H/E , which equals Intake, Headers

and Exhaust. All parts from a V6 94-96 Accord will fit our engine with little

or no modification. If you are okay with the 1997 Center Console - I have a

woodgrain accent kit for sale as well.

i would always start with the exterior first. like tint and some small stuff. even some diy stuff. then i would lower it. and maybe get some rims. then start investing in a speaker system. as you work on the system, invest some in the engine with the basics like, intake headers exhaust. good luck modding your car. get some pics when u start modding

The 3.0 V6 is in a 98-02 accord. Any parts for your v6 3.0, you can get from ebay or any motor site that are for a 98-02 Accord 3.0 V6, it's the same motor, not the 94-96.

if your gonna have the car for awhile i would def get yourself a nice short ram intake. only a few $$$$, sounds nicer, car comes alive a lil, lil more mpg once the novalty wears off. then i would prob drop it and get better tires and or rims. a full exhaust and header would be nice but they are real pricey and not worth it if you'llbe considering a new car in a year or two. oh im a big fan of tint. cant live without it. especially driving on the highway at night. i wanted to kill myself when my subie was naked.

peace

Yeah, krazy, i was considering that idea. Current Plans: Ext- Clear turn signals, Paint skirts, Window Tint, De-emblem the rear. Under- CAI, polished headers(almost done with them, been working on them a while). Int- Indash DVD/CD, 2 Subs in the trunk (waitin til Oct/Nov my new job is Best Buy, haha).

Thanks for the tips
