cant wait to see them on the car! Hopefully the rear of the projector dosent hit anything in the engine bay when the bulb is in there and connected to the ballast.... but im sure you already took that into account.

yup nothin hits but on the driver side u have to remove the housing to slip the audi oem connecter off the bulb. if only there was another 1/4". ill have pics of that. dotn really care cuz the bumper comes of too easy and i shouldnt have to change the bulbs for a long time. they are 4100K bulbs so i might go for 4300. they are a little on the white side.

the prob with other projectors audi for example are not as easy to setup in our housings and they do say xenon. im trying to draw less attention to the fact that there r HIDs inside. also the bmw projectors are rated as one of the best. yeah on a bmw only the lense is visible, but u cant really tell when the lights are mounted on the car. u cant see the 3 metal columns that attach to the rear of the projector. u also cannot see the cut off plate. i know better pics will help. youll see what im talkin bout. if u all could only come by and check em out in person.

1. i painted the housings black
2. those are bmw projectors mounted into our oem housing
3. i will be more than happy to duplicate the setup for anyone intrested
4. the reason there are no pics on the car is because my rear end is up in the air waitin for new bushings and bolts so i can install my koni/ eibach setup. i had to cut the old bolts off and torch the bushing out. since the car isnt level i cannot aim the projectors yet and therefore i am unable to finalize the setup
5. i apologize for the wait
6. the parts should be at my house in nj when i return from penn state in 2 weeks. i hope to get everything done then

i got everything off ebay
look to spend about $150 on a set of projectors. as luck would have it though it just happens that the BMW ones seem like they were made for this application. i almost bought audi. so i would reccommed bmw. not to mention they are one of the better projectors. u can use any even a set out of a integra but those werent designed for HIDs but u can get them for less.

Excellent idea on those headlights!

I really like what you've done. Look forward to the new pics!

Good luck with the new bushings and bolts. BTW: How are you going to press in those bushings? I ask, because I need to replace mine. You're talking about the lower rear shock mounting bushings, correct? Thanks!

ill waitin for an email from a friend who would know. ill let u know asap. and if u were intrested in comming up to nj it would only take one full day to do. the longest part is separateing the lense off the housing and cutting the hole in the reflector. the projectors would be in by dark and we can aim them, mount them, and send u on ur way.

the lower one in ur email is what is needed. any hid projector will do, however im trying to get identical ones that i used becuase they install perfectly and i already know what is invloved. i can use any but then i cant really put a time frame on it.

i could bring my tools up to college, i just hope i wont need anything extra becuase all my goodies are back in nj and if i need a part i know where to get it

let me get mine finalized im 90% done, i have yet to reinstall my housings with all the bolts and aim the HIDS so there is a possibility for a final little problem although i highly doubt it. i know everything fits and works, just havent dealt with aiming them yet

im pretty sure i can get u the same ones for $220 shipped. i wish i had a model so i could hunt them down myself. im trying to get a connection
