i just wanted to share my joy with everyone here. people on this fourm helped me with my decision to get this car. the color of the car is primrose silver. the color wasnt my first choice but im already starting to like it more and more. so im happy for now......

 

one problem.......when i press the lock button one my remote, i dont see the flashing lights that confirms that the car has been locked and alarmed....how do i make the lights blink when i press the lock button???

about the alarm try unlocking both doors then try locking it....see if that works

I think mine was the same way, my remote stopped working months ago so I'm not sure.

I just bought a 5spd 2.2 as well a few months back. I like it so far....I like your color better than my white though, probably easier to keep clean.

 

i actually got a great deal on it. i got it for 7000 canadian . the only down side is that there is 185 kms on it . and i was just stupid.....the lights and alarm does work . i forgot i got a spoiler and the guy threw in a alright deck too. yo silvercl97, we pretty much have the same ride ahhaha. im located around broadview and danforth, if u kno where that is....the only flaw on the car is a small chip on the rear bumper and very very small rust spots around the rear wheel well....does anybody else have a bit of rust on their car???

 

i got rust on the rear quarter panel too, thats where the rust likes to hang out for some reason , i also got some rust where the spoiler and trunk meet...and some chips and scratches, thats why i wanna get it painted

 

does nebody have clear corners and the extra wood trim pieces around the console?? i wanna have alot of wood in my interior. i think that will look good

 

ebay is probably ur best bet for that stuff...

 

damn! i hate buying shit online.......i wonder if there is a local store around here that sells that shit.....?????

I got mine for $4000 USD, but it had 156k miles on it.

My only rust is on the hood where the stupid wipers knock into it because they're not aligned right and will randomly either go too far up or down depending on mood.

And I think maybe a little non visable rust inside the moonroof.

u can try any PartSource for the lights but i dont think they'll have the woodtrim

 

Yup the one in April. I'll be going and checking out what everyone has done to their car. Come, it looks like it'll be a great turn out.

 

I would much rather buy something in person than online. If you do find clear corners sold in the area, let me know.

It's basically stock. We'll all be the primose 1st gen there! SilverCL97, SpeedDemon and me. At least we'll look better than the stock EL that are showing up.

if any of u guys that are going to the meet at woodbine have clear corners, reverse gauges, or that seafoam shit, ill be there FOR SURE!!

 

there is gonna be tons of people there and i bet most of them would help u find some stuff u need

 

I do have the stock spoiler.

I wanna check out that Automotive Warehouse sometime. I called them one time about clear corners and they said that they have to special order it. Canadian Tires tried ordering it, but couldn't because their supplier said APC isn't making it anymore...
