I finally said "Fuck It" and put amber bulbs in all 4 corners.

I've been trying to upload a video clip on my hosting site since last night, but the site has been screwy.

they look nice..i had hyper white but then went back to amber..they look a lot better

 

I put ambers in my corners too....but i also change dmy bumper lights to the stock amber ones....was lazy to buy amber bulbs

 

What kind of bulbs are those?

 

I have all ambers again, and they look way better than the whites.

I put amber bulbs in my corners also and I love the look at night just bugs the hell out of me to look at the amber coated bulbs during the day

Get some of the ones that have the slight silver coating over them. They don't look amber at all until they light up. I can't find the right ones around here, I'll have to order some online.

Not going with the current trend, back to the amber lenses.

Shit; It took me almost a year to switch to the clears.

Looks good Rick, i decided to do it awhile ago because nothing matches HIDs except LEDs which in a week Oh you can put a light coat of silver spray paint on the amber and it looks silver in the housing but still lights up amber

 

That's pretty cool that you setup a videoclip. What kind of headlight bulbs and exhaust are you running?

 

most of us never went to clears :P

 

The HIDs are EAGLEYE 6000K (I don't know who actually makes them--I think they're from Japan or Korea ).

The exhaust is from 3A Racing. It's called "Air Dynamic".

 

I had the hyper whites and they made the housings look blue during the day..... I went to buy ambers, but i they didnt have the 7440, so i went back to plain sylvania bulbs in all the slots up front and it looks good, kind of a yellowish color, not too bright, i like it..for now anyway..but it made me think that all yellow bulbs upfront might look sweet..anyone seen/done this?

I just did the amber bulb conversion too. I'm having probems finding amber 7440 blinker bulbs, though. I've been to a dozen auto parts stores. Time to look online I guess.
