Few questions

1.) Ok I wanna get clear corners for my car. The ones from NOPI.com for 61 bucks... are they good? And are all clear corners legal? i live in indiana.

2.) I want to get a 5 inch tach with shift light. Where is the best place to buy and what other gauges can I get? (I am looking at ehaust temp and voltometer for system/alt) If I bought a gauge pod what year accord would it be? 97 or 98?

3.) What is the best price for 1 (maybe two if I can mold it) Blue acura emblem (just the A)?

4.) Does anyone know how to make a custom box. you can email at luckyax2@aol.com or just post!

Thanks
Aj

Why on earth would you want a 5 inch tach and shift light if you drive an automatic? Are you afriad your auto tranny is going to redline your engine ?

O my self included! there is just something missing with an auto! I mean i take my lil brothers teg (which is far from ricey) and it accelerates like crazy but its only a four banger. If I hook up a clutch ( a 5 speed) then I know my tires are gonna be burning like crazy off the line! problem is parts.. its all gotta be custom fabricated.. so you guys dont need to be dissin on the tach.

So then what mystery transimission will you be using considering that there is no manual tranny that can be used on a j30a?

Manual

Sorry guys its been a while since I have been on.. just keep in mind that the purpose of the post was simply for me to find those things I was looking for. I am a 17 year old and am slowly trying to get into the game, and i think I am doing a good job (mainly thanks to dustbuster's tips and all of you guys on the internet here!) I know a lot, but not everything. All that I know is that I went to Custom Auto, a shop up here in Mishawaka, Indiana. Up here we do not have people who like Acuras or even an Acura dealer. its mainly fags who drive civics, tegras, eclipses, and cavilears (yes thos POS's) they think a cool car has an APC sticker in the windshield and a muffler and altezzas, they think they are cool rolling on hub caps and watching the Fast and The Furious. But I went to extra mile to get a clutch i love. I went to custom Auto and they told me they would custom fabricate a 1998 Accord clutch system into my car for about 1,500, but thats not including labor. they are trying to figure out how to do this faster and cheap but for now the auto is cool. if anyone has any tips please drop me a PM

People who roll those cars are fags huh?

My old civic Si was faster then your car. My buddy runs 10's in his Integra, he must be a fag, huh?

It had none of those "poseur rice" conatations on it.

Maybe you should rethink your:
-Shift Knob/Racing Pedals
-Hyperwhites
-Blue Caliper Paint

If you dont want to fit into that category.

BTW The accord clutch combo I dont think will work seeing as the clutch is for the 4 cylinder accord. But good luck with that.

Platnum sorry to hear your buddy came out of the closet!
Anyways I dont know much nor do I front it but it's established that luckyax is lying.
i think the moral of this story is not to cover up one lie with another because eventually the lies build up and you will get caught. I'm sure Luckyax wished he came clean after his intial post.
Anyways I hope you've all enjoyed my story and please dont knock on platnum's buddy because he's gay......it's not his fault!

And by the way what good would it do to pay $1,500 for a clutch when the best stage 3 clutch from ACT retails for like $500 and have no manual tranny to use it with since there is no manual tranny that will bolt up with a j30a. If you thought this out you would at least try to use the tranny from a '03 CL 6 speed type s with the clutch preussure plate and flywheel. But considering the car has been out for a couple of months it would be pretty hard to find a wrecked one and even if you did you would pay up the ass for the parts and tranny off of it. Or you could buy a new 6 speed tranny from acura but for the price of a new car .

are you dumb or are you just plain ignorant. PlatnumToof you totally missed the point here and all of you played along with him. Hell i would love a Civic Si with a type r engine (my cuz just bought one for 18,000 shipped from japan). But what I was dissing on was the kids who ONLY put on a muffler and altezzas w/ NO MODIFICATIONS WHAT SO EVER! Did I diss souped up integras? I own one myself you dumbass. So before you start acting all hard core and talk about your friends cars why dont you re read by post. Hey man if you are all about the APC sticker more power to you, but wait to you meet a real car.

Huh??
Why would you put a civic or integra type r engine in a Civic SI? The Civic SI allready comes with a b16a2 engine which is a DOHC VTEC engine. That would be a waste of money to buy a SI only to get rid of a perfectly good engine. For that buy any Civic other than an SI and then do a type R swap. And if the civic came with a type R engine stock, is right hand drive, with a carbon fiber hood and red racing seats then its a Civic Type R and has nothing to do with an SI.
