Anyone have a driver side yellow parking light lense they want to sell cheap?

Don't know exactly what happened (not hit) but it appears that the front bumper filled with ice - car has been sitting for a week with a couple of inches of ice on the hood. The driver side parking light lense is popped out, broken from outside mount. I also noticed that the bumper cover plastic has a split right under the lense, running round the corner on the flat that is the opening for the lense (not visible with lense in place).

Anyone else ever hear of something like this? Maybe it is a sign to go with a set of clear lenses?

Just go ahead and get clears. They look 2x better than the fugly orange lenses.

 

I just put a set of clear corners in this afternoon, they make a world of difference! Much cleaner look for only 40 bucks after shipping.

Don't replace the broken one.....get the clears and some nice bulbs to go with them

Are these the directional lenses. Do you know if they will fit on any 97 CL?

 

If you're referring to the lenses that house the turn signals, then yes! They'll fit on any 1stGen CL ('97/'98/'99)

they will fit any first generation CL, 97-99.

i dont know what you mean by directional, uhh, the left and right ones are not the same. maybe that would make them directional.

Oh i just thought of something are you talking about directional indicators (turn signals)?

 

I ordered mine from that same site (thanks dust ) cheapest that I have seen them for sale also..I ordered...got it fast..and am very happy with the outcome of the clear corners...you should get em..

Did you order from procarparts.com? Im planning on getting these next paycheck. Are the clears just the front plastic of the assembly or do they come with the entire blinking light?

I have seen some people online sell just the front clear plastic to
replace the orange plastic. then you have to heated and replace the orange plastic with the clear and silicone back up. were the ones you ordered from procarparts like this or was it the entire casing?

i didn't know anybody sells those that have to silicon it back up... u pop out your old ones by unscrewing it out (refer to ur owners' manual)... pop out the 2 lights... put the lights in the clear ones.. pop the lense back into the bumper... and that's it.. no silicon at all...

Thanks, i will order mine this weekend. Do you have to change the bulb to a different color? Has anyone had trouble with police because of the clears?

 

I changed the small bulbs to hyper whites.....and left the bigger (turn signal) bulbs the same.....or you can get the amber/blue/white colored ones. Cops all depends on your town some care some don't but having white or blue turn signal bulbs is just another excuse for them to pull you over.

 

Is it actually illegal? (if they were illegal, i don't think companies would make them, right?) have you ever heard of some one getting a ticket?

Get clears for a newer body style Integra and just flip them....they will fit in the CL's.

i remember junior bean told me the same thing long time ago (before the clears came out)... but i think u have to modify the housing to make it fit...
just get them off ebay.. it's cool!

i don't think cops will bust you for clear corners.. just make sure you get orange blinkers and no funky bulbs for the side... u should be fine...
