Has anyone swapped an F20B?? I'm just considering my options,. I know h22's are popular and I'm looking for something dfferent...

I don't think so but it's been talked about a gazillion times. The F20B has more hp and torque but the H22 has more after market ability which makes it the wiser choice.

the B20 is slow as shit untill you Vtec head swap it


i remember reading over at honda-tech they dyno up at a killer 124 horse power and close number torque

there was a old thread that popped up here a while ago with a milano red 2x with a F20B swap. they have the red valve covers right. and what would even be cooler if someone swapped a DOHC JDM F22B. bet some of you never heard of that b4. but it does exist.

idk about you, but a normal f22b1 with i/h/e and a vafc can get 145 easy stock not the case

so..your swapin in a h23 then right ? 160 hp ....etc ? i thought about doing that years ago, but ....not worth it. UNLESS, you talk to pirate and do his h23 frank setup ..

Do you have to swap a dohc vtec head on the jdm f22b? I can only find sohc vtec motors on ebay...

hmotorsonline.com. the f20b is 200 hp but 145tq and we need all the tq we can get in our heavy car. id fgo with the h22 you get 161 tq

Yes there is a f22 thats a dohc i think its the f22b then there the f20b it comes in a sir-t accord and atr in the year or 1996

I know that the f20b is dohc vtec,. but other than the f20c S2000 motor,. I don't know of any other dohc vtec f-series motors,. although there is a jdm f22b which is dohc and very similar to the usdm h23 dohc non-vtec motor
