so to start my day off yesterday i wake up to my neighbor screaming SOMEONE'S STEALING YOUR RADIO.........
i throw on some chones run outside and my fucking trunk is open ..... i dont know how they got in . the car was locked and alarm was set . oh and not just any alarm but a viper 790 with a few upgrades . i then ran inside grabbed my keys looked at the remote and it was still locked ..... i had to unlock it (via remote)to get into my damn car .... she pointed to let me know wich way they went .........i drove around for bout 15 min looking for em . but no luck... i took a better look at the inside of the car and the whole center console is very very fucked up , all the wood trim an broken in like five places ......fuck fuck fuck fuck .....
some cracked out asshole stole 1000.00 dollars worth of stereo equip. and caused who knows how much in damages . and all the time i now have to put into this . like i have nothing beter to do...........all so he can trade it in for a dime bag .....

What the fuck, damn, sorry to hear that. I've got a 790 also, and this worries me. You should go to the place you bought the alarm and raise holy hell, that you're alarm never went off. Thats what i'd do, call up the Viper people and bitch like crazy, the remote never even paged you, and it was at your house!!!

 

What color is your interior? I have some center pieces.

 

i dont know how they got passed the alarm . i also did go to the store where i got it and the guy was utterly speachless when i explained what happened .... he told me he would get back to me pretty soon . he even told me 790 is whats on his & his wifes car .... so it made him worry even more .....

and i am going to claim it .......250 deductable ... not a bad price for a new system.... but immstill pissed off

Hey that does suck I have had my share of too.. You might also check with the alarm company I think they have some kind of guaratee on those things especially for the more expensive models. A friend of mine got a new radio and alarm replaced free of charge, but his entire car was stolen then found.

Try to look on the bright side...this has happened to me several times. Then once i relize i have insurance to cover it, i just cheer up and order some nice new shit. They never ask questions really.

 

my friend got his 7" tv stolen one night while he was at the movies...the guys drilled through his key hole in the door to get in...insurance gave him soo uch $ that he bought a new clairon 7" tv and had enough left over to get his door handles saved...


on another note...i work with a guy who used to have a low rider in competations and shit...his whole truck bed was carpet and glass boxes with neons and mirrors and like 8 subs...well one morning he woke up and his car had been broken in...he had 2 alarms so if one was cut, the other went off within 10 sec...some how, the guys found both alarms and cut them both at the same time, stole every peice of stereo outta his truck...(all sponcered equptment) anyway, finds out it was his stereo instaler...the installer who had been installing all these alarms and subs and stereos, got your info while he installed it, knew how to get it out quick and had been stealing all of his clients stuff he had done...

moral: check out the stereo installer and alarm installer....they'd know how to bypass the alarm and get the shit out quick...

and i would call viper and tell them about thmem breaking into your car cause i thought some alarm companies offer like a 1000 or 2000 warrenty if their alarm doesnt do the job, and in which it didnt, but make sure they hooked up the sensor in the trunk too, i wonder if the shop that installed it added the sensor into the trunk

are there any pry marks, like a crowbar? did you figure how they got in?

same thing happened in my home town. this all happened while i was in high school. he broke into around 20 cars before he got caught. check the guy whose installing your shit.
