I have to rip mine out still - I'm running an aftermarket HU and the bose amp so my stereo options are off, loud, and blowing the speakers out loud.

does the keyless entry and dome light work of the radio???? reason being is that i am getting the clarion screen/dvd so i wanted to know if i had to get some adapters or anything!!

Any aftermarket headunit or in dash screen you want to use would work. I'd get new amps and speakers at the same time tho.

i have an alpine w/ a remote control. but i just never use it since i can reach the unit when i rest my hand on the shifter. i find it harder blindly feel out which button to press when i'm using the remote where i can just extend my finger and press a button.

who here use the remote control?
