^^ he said it all... if you wanna stay around 200 bucks and thats including the install just get a muffler. magnaflow is your best bet. catback is gonna run you in around 500+ or so unless you can find something super cheap on craigslist. ebay is okay but they'll tear you up in shipping charges. yank your resonators off and put a magnaflow muffler on, it will sound pretty good. i had that on my 3.0 accord back in the day.

if u plan on having the car for a while, just save up for something decent, HKS dragger, or whatever.

if 200 is your spending limit. you have to find a used muffler. Other than that magnaflow is considered best bang for buck which is a lil bit more.

I think BlindShooter has/had a RS*R muffler on his cl. Sounded pretty good IMO.

I got my Magnaflow off ebay for $170, brand new.

i hope u kno, that with the tip it will decrease HP. unless u get headers and entire exhaust system then we're talkin bout HP. dude jus save up and then redo ur entire pipes. trust me u'll like it. forget this project for now till u have more to spend.

tip wont affect anything.

just like the noobs that claim they get hp from a tip or catback, granted there may be variations in backpressure, but not much.

however, headers, hiflo-cat, cai, will give you the sound you want. and power

There is no way you can gain or loose HP by replacing your stock 14in metal tube with another 14in metal tube.. As for sound? Just get an SRI. The only reason that I would get a muffeler is if I would replace the entire exhaust system or if someone jacks my tips.

I love the way my magnaflow sounds. No resonator, and high flow cat. It's fun to set off car alarms and wake up all my neighbors when I leave for work at 3am.

I'll second, wait I guess third this "How so?". Sure, a muffler alone isn't going to give you 20 hp, but it is going to be much more free flowing, adding a horse or two. It's not going to be significant, but in no way damaging.

Anyway, I personally had a pos 2.5" catback exhaust system then found an HKS Super Dragger axle-back for $180 shipped, mated em together and it's one of the better sounding exhaust systems outside of J's racing, ARC, and Toda that I know of

lol I had an attempted robbery before I had my 19s, I had a set of A-Specs and some noobs took all the lugs off but never got the wheels still wonder what scared em off. So I spent 500 on a code 3 alarm w/ tilt sensor and all that shit. the pager works well, works pretty much anywhere in the hospital. and it only needs to be jacked up about 3 inches or so and it goes ape shit. Down side though if I park on a slope or incline, the alarm goes nuts
