EverDrive.com

Any one know about this site they seem to sale stock engines that I need for my car, but when looking through stock engine for acura cl and accord 94-97. The acura cl engine is more, isnt it the same engine though?

http://www.everdrive.com/partdetails.aspx?sku=3061248

http://www.everdrive.com/partdetails.aspx?sku=3061242

so just go for the accord one right?

for 1200 you'd be better off getting one of these, only $999
http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc...age&item=30013

or one of these for little more $1400 but worth every dollar

If it's the same engine, I don't see why you couldn't just drop it in. But you could want to consider replacing motormounts as well... but it is unlikely that stock ones would really need to be changed if you didn't beat the living shit out of your car.

BS, you say that but i have my doubts, cheap motor swap are usally something to go into cautionously(sp), you have to look at why its so cheap and the source. alot of these cheap motor sites have shit motors, that have sat out in the harsh coastal weather,or taking from higher milage cars or pulled out like a bad tooth causing almost all if not all accseories to be busted, or its some shady charater from craigslist the has a 1700 swap for 800, proably hot or bust-ass. nobody sell things for less than their worth without some reason.

All complete h22 swaps online are around $1800-2200

But I guess he's right, there are a ton of risky craigslist posts for shit like that, even in my area.

BTW I still have no goddamn power! This blows.

Nope, i had a hook-up with a full motor swap. the only reason why i didn't do it is because one im broke, two i wanted to do a swap where i can keep it OBD2. This is a OBD1 motor. alot of crate motors over here are about 900. and plus i used to live near Rice-Rocket city.

ok, you show me verfiable proof of a 1200 motor swap from a reputable shop and i'll belive, but you still sound full of shit.
(it's 1200 for a motor swap out here, oh yeah i forgot to metion it was for me only cause i have the hookup)

swaps in cali aren't cheaper, from what i've seen their more expensive, try looking at LA craigslist, full of foo's taxing

Last time I checked, buying an engine didn't count as an engine swap without paying a shop to do the labor, so stop saying full engine swap

calm down, douche
you make it seem like you can walk into any place in cali and get motor/transmission for a swap for all cheap, but then you can't back it up and say it's only cause your hookup, how does that help him find his motor.
1200 for a h22 motor/trans, it's proably hot or worn out, bad synchros, ran hot, spun a bearing or some B.S.
you're full of shit

fact of matter is that you can say whatever you want, so you can pay whatever price you think isn't BS. and i can get the same job done cheaper and right. im sorry you have to live in a shitty place that doesn't have it like we do here in cali. im done.

you said you can get a h22 motor and trans for 1200 and can't back it up, don't say something and have no proof that makes you look foolish, i provide proof for my finding, you mearly rattle off some number and say you homeboy has it, with out providing vins or proof that it came from his car it might as well be hot and when a cop or inspection comes looking, your car will be impounded.
cali/miami is overrated, swaps are not cheap unless something is up with it.
and i'd wrech circles around your ASE certified tech, theres people like me who can build a car and people like you who bring their car to me.

99 accords didn't have an f22, that would be an f23 which is not a direct swap :detective

Here's a link to an H22 with tranny for $1200. But I couldn't tell you if these are the ones you guys use for your swaps. Although I know you guys use h22's....I don't know the letter after H22 that you guys use. Here's a link to a H22A with auto tranny (obd1):

6th one down: http://www.sunrisejdmmotors.com/man_...hp?id=4&page=2

One issue I see, if that you won't pass inspection with this since it's 92-96. I believe your engine has to be the same year or newer. Someone that knows more about the law could tell you if you can get away with it or not.

Don't know how much this helps in Johnathon's defense as I don't know how detailed you guys are getting with the arguement.

I believe this thread is what Chris is referring to:

https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-cl-1997-1999-56/so-its-direct-drop-huh-488854/

You have to read it for the details. I think the issue was the wiring as the 98+ accords went from obd2a to obd2b. But I didn't read it, so you'll just have to look into it. Or someone else is going to have to explain this.

they seemed pretty clueless in that thred, i'd use the original f22 cl intake manifold on the f23, so that way you know all the sesors and lines are the same

It looks like the non-vtec, if you really care. They aren't too specific on the engine model no. on that site. "F22B" is kinda vague. Give them a call?
