engine problems again

if some of you remember in the past i have posted about a miss in the engine. well the other day my distributer bearing went out and replaced it under warranty, great put it on and still had a small small miss. Lastnight i was driving around and i felt it miss so i held it there so it would throw a code, it did and said: Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit High Input which is the tps, but now this morning is startd missing so bad that the motor was jumping front to bad like it was on hydrolics. any help is appreciated

What is this TPS malfunction season??!!!
My TPS is being gay. Regardless that I changed it, regardless that I cleaned the whole throttle body and it still acts up. It will be fine for 3 weeks then one day it will go off like a motherflupper then be fine the next day.

If its reving like a maniac then yes.
When my engine light comes on i know that my rpm will not be constant i might aim for 3k and as im letting go off the clutch thr rpm will drop to 1k then surge back up. Thats a normal malfunction then it gets worse where i have trouble driving the car.

dont know....let me try to detail my problems. im the mornings, it is ideling at 3k, taking off at a slow rate i can then mash the gas down and you feel the car miss, hessitating, and then bammm it throws you back in to your seat like a v8. any time i am between 2500 and 4k, you can feel it missing really badly, it has dropped my gas from 31mpg down to 22 mpg, every time i let off the gas it sounds the the "CRAZY FROG" song, push the gas down and it misses again. Now if i am at WOT, the S.O.B. runs like a scalded dog.

Any advice besides "Your Fu****" is greatful

I had that happen once only.
It rained a lot and i had to go thru some deep puddles of water. Don't know if theer is a connection between the two but the car would rev fine up to 2.5-3k then it was like I would press the gas and nothing would happen then BOOM 8-9K and Id lauch like a maniac.
My solution?? I parked the car, went home, prayed that it was all a dream and the car was fine the next day.
There are two things I would suggest to you.
1 . Take out our throttle body, remove the TPS sensor and clean the throttle body with throttle body cleaner.
2. Get yourself a new TPS. Do not call Acura because they will want to sell you a new throttle body with TPS for $700. Either get a new one off e-bay or find another Honda engine and take it off that one. They all all the same.

If you didnt touch the wiring it wouldnt just fuck up. Change your TPS. Leave you throttle body in brake fluid overnight.
