Ok, how did you guys with the h22a swap reset your engine light. My mechanic can not make out the codes because they are in ob2 when the motor is obd1 or something like that. Any how just wondering if there is a trick to reseting the light oh and i switched to a manual and wanna get rid of the parking light that stays on also. Do I just have to take that bulb out of the odometer, or is there a wire I can cut. Any advice would be grateful, thans fellas.

Come h22a owners looking for some advise

 

yeah my check engine light just randomly comes on and off. they said it's because I no longer have the o2 censor in the cat. now it's somewhere near or in the header, but i think pulling the bulb mght be the only way. i have 2 other friends with swaps and theirs do the same thing.

 

OBD1 ecu's do not recognize the second o2 sensor. The code comes from the ecu. If your using an p13 look for the p13 codes and crossreference with your check engine light.

 

get a p28 ecu with a hondata chip and PRESTO, GONE!

Thats what i did. Plus, you car will run hella better and stronger.
