Engine Head Rebuild
Wish me luck. This weekend I am going to start putting everything back together. The machine shop resurfaced the head for only $35, and I got a vacuum check to make sure all the valves are ok except just a few had a small leak, which i was like what the hell since its off why not. So i got a valve job for $150 with the new seals i got from the dealer. Parts I got was the head kit which was $250, damn thing had to be shipped all the way from Oregon.
Does anyone know the specs toque for the bolts?
Parts
Head stuff
Resurfaced head
engine
thats what 209,000 miles looks like
would seafoam help after i get everything back together?

ok so i put everything back together....and having my mechanic friend over. He brought his ALLDATA computer and wow that thing is awesome. It gives you specs on everything, and tells you how to put it back together. Well got everything back on; head, gaskets, valve adjustment, sensors. Started it up....purred like a cat. (which is good...for those that dont likes cats) anyways let it warmed up for a little bit, and wouldnt you know, it started leaking antifreeze. After about 5 min, we figured out it was coming from the tube that connects to the thermostat, it needed an o-ring. Lucky the dealer was still open and ran over there to get it, which was lucky for me they had in stock. Yet i put it on, and it still leaking. Wish me luck that tomorrow i can figure it out.
Oh and my knock sensor looked like it blew out of my block, so i had to get a new one. Damn thing cost $180 brand new, lucky i have a guy at Acura that was able to give me a discount.
