YO EVERY ONE DOIN THE H22 THING BUT THERES A LOT OF TALK ABOUT THE K SERIES FRANKENSTIEN MOTOR WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT THAT???????????????????????????????

 

I've heard about it, but it's a lot more than the H22 swap and I dont know if it will fit into the CL, not sure.

 

what about the k series for thoes of us who dont know?

RSX, the new Civic Si and TSX have K series motor.

 

will the 97 3.0 fit in the 97 2.2 if so I"d like to do that engine swap

it will fit, you've just got to make it. Rumor has it there are 3 shops currently swapping in the TSX motors into accords

yea it is possible....just have to spend a shit load of money....its not like dropping an h22 into an accord or cl....need alot more money

 

If you have enough time and money anything will FIT. Its just a question of when is it so much money that its getting wasted? Dropping a 3.0 in a 2.2 would be wasting money. And h22 is the easiest swap and will get you excellent gains with very very high potential to turbo/super it and get even more gains. Don't screw with the highend engines that would cost 10k just to buy. Just drop an h22 w/turbo&NOS. That bitch will fly.

 

if your going to spend that much time retrofitting a 4 banger in, your better off with an ls1
