KC CL 1785

Has anyone else received a letter about the emissions control system? I was just wondering if anyone has had anny problems so far. If so, what has happened? Also did having an intake effect the fixing of this in any way?

yup. it's an extension of the warranty.

What's wrong with the emissions control system? Could this be why my CL always spews white smoke when it's cold out, even after the motor is warm?

yea i got it too. It was just an extension on your warrenty. But i think that they'll do any work for free if your check engine light comes on. My car goes in on thurs. to get the intake manifold cleaned out. That was covered under warrenty, even though i had the DAC in it.

I had the same white smoke and the notice. Took my car in last week and everything was fine.

yeah it is. for some reason our f series engines seem to get alot of moisture in them in the winter. i gots lots o smoke while im warmin up out of my 3" tip on my HKS exhaust. heh yeah thats extension of emiision crap. too bad i replaced all my parts so i think theres only like 3 things under warrenty. hey my O2 sensor. forgot about that. nice to know thats under warrenty longer. damn things cost so much $$$$$$$$$$$

I had mine fixed, they told me its a problem in cold weather with some EGR valve. I think that is what they called it. Its a common prob with our car.
