I've never seen one of those before but I have heard of people using hair dryers with the cold air button taped down to blow air into the engine via their stock air box. Some guy in Charlotte NC would do it and everybody would joke him because the idea was so ghetto. But, apparently it really made a noticeable difference and that kid wasnt so crazy after all (he forever remained ghetto though)
Personally, I think youd have to install some sort of blow off valve though for when the throttle plate is closed that way you dont have the pressure building up from the motor stalling/ destroying the blower motor since its always running. Maybe the blower doesn't create that much pressure and one isnt needed.

Im gonna try finding one of these on the internet and maybe a company name and how much pressure it creates.

Well I did a little checking around and couldnt fin that unit, but I found one a product called eram which is essentially the same. Although the eram also comes with a filter. Anyway the eram only created 1psi and only worked at full throttle. On a 92 hp civic a 4 hp gain was noted a 5 hp gain on a non vtec integra, and it cost $300. I also read some articles that said if the blower doesnt create more than 1.7 psi than it really wouldnt work. You can try emailing the seller and ask him what it is and where he got it. That part might never have been intended to go into a car.

I was thinking about this and the idea seems logical....if the elecrtic fan could be hooked up to the tps sensor somehow and only blow respectively to thottle position, I could actually see it giving a hp gain. But that is just my opinion, and the thing doesnt have a tps connection anyway I dont think.

Its times like this that I wish I were rich and crazy, so my eccentric ass could buy weird gimmicky $100 things and slap them into my car without fear or knowing that I had just blown 3.33% of the money needed to buy myself a turbo kit.

My input

OK what i know about that little fan, first of all it was orginally for boats to take smoke out of the engine bay (how do i know my dad has it in his sail boat). Will it do anything not sure cause it not very powerful. im going to put one on my cold air intake to see what it does for the hell of it. Second you can get them at Westmarine (a store for boat products) my dad told me there $20-$30 dollars. So don't go bidding on ebay $80-$100 bucks for it on e-bay. That's pretty much what i know about the fan thing.
