I've made the decision to go ahead and sell the accord (my bro might buy it back actually) and get another CL... but not the one I had. I want a 98 3.0 in that nice blue color with the "almost black" interior. Heres a link to the perfect car... just this one is priced pretty high. Feel free to help me out in my search... Why not buy a 2.2 for 3K cheaper and then do the h22 swap? You would have the same car, just more fun and more mods and a 5 speed AND the h22 CL would be the same price as the 3.0CL.

If I was to do it over I would find a 98 2.3 with really high miles but perfect interior and exterior and do the swap.

Just a little advice dont buy cars on ebay unless you can look at it or get the vin number from the seller to look up its car history plus 14-5 is a little steep. I definently aggree that Id buy the 2.3 witht he highest miles and drop the H22 from the 4 door Accord Type R into it.

 

im definatly thinking of a 2.2/2.3... but my biggest reason for switching again, is I miss the V6 nuts! I know a h22 with mods would have more power, and a 5 speed... but the torque that the 3.0 has is awesome! I have a buyer for my h22 already, so I wasnt really pondering that too much.

I would not pay $14,500 for that car... I was just saying thats exactly the car I want... I prolly wouldnt buy a car off ebay either, im too damn picky about the condition its in.

Who knows... i'll find something soon... im gonna go to acura later and see what my dealer can pull up for me.

I realize it's not the color (or year) that you want, but it's close your price range.

 

I do like the green... But I gotta be different than you Dust... last I knew that chick from VA that got banned from here was the only one with a blue 1st gen. Plus I saw one at my acura dealer (not for sale, someone owned it) and I fell in love with the color!! Plus I like how it has the darker grey interior... (I still say its black!). I sold the h22 to a kid with a 94 prelude with a blown engine... so thats gone, now i'm definatly gonna get the 3.0.


Blacura- I wanna get a V6 again, I miss the torque of that engine... plus i'm sick of shifting already.
