Either a bad sensor, or your brake system is f'in up. I had that problem twice right b4 one of my calipers blew. Do you still have stiffness in your brake pedal? Also, does the ABS light come on too?

Check your brake fluid. It could be low! There is a sensor in the cap that measure your level. When you are on the gas and the fluid moves it will cause the light to come on.

Are you sure one of the calipers isn't starting to leak? It's not that common of a problem but I've had both rear calipers replaced. There's a bunch of little rubber parts inside the caliper that will fail sooner or later. Are you losing any fluid? I've never had to top up my brake fluid unless there was a problem with them
