I posted about it before. It not that easy to do it. I kinda don't have the balls to rip off the entire rub thing and replace it. Hmm.. since our car interiors are similar to accords maybe they had more people attempt it since they got more owners of accords.

i've done it and it's easy. all you need is a blade, accord boot, and handle.

how do you get that bolt/ fastener off that attaches the rubber boot to the metal part of the ebrake?? you pull it apart? or just cut the rubber off and leave the fastener in?

the rubber attaches to two groumets under the console ... believe it or not the rubber is just glued onto the handle where you grab it. i had to cut mine to have any chance of gettin it off. i had to modify the handle with pressing and grinding to get the new handle to fit now i just need the leather boot. i cant find anywhere that has a boot made for the accord though

the gromets I mean... how do you get that off... isn't a gromet a hole?? it looks like it is a brass fastener... both sides are flat... so do you pull them apart?

Buy some leather and sew it yourself of get some seamstress to sew it for 5 bucks lol. .. Custom boot.

well i modified the handle to be able to hold the leather inside of it. as far as how it hooks on take the console apart and see for yourself after 5 screws i cant explain if you have small hands then you could do it through the cupholder hole
