Duel Exhaust

My 99 3.0 CL needs a new exhaust, so i was thinking of making it duel. What are some thoughts on it, do you think it would look fine? stuff like that. And where i could find a pipe slitter? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

when your exhaust is set up for a duel, make sure they are evenly matched otherwise one might be handicapped.

well 1st off youre gonna need to cut in a new hole on the left side of the car for the new muffler......... thats youre 1st step, obviously........ I personally think a single is more than sufficient, just drop in a high flow single rather than a dual setup, duals are just more dead weight that you dont need.... I cant really imagine a 1st gen with duals, 2nd gens obviously, but not a 1st gen

in thinking our header setups will NOT support a true dual setup even the V6 headers bring all 6 into 1 at a mutual point, I suppose you can replace the downpipe piece and run a flanged pipe from each cylinder banks' header, but that does NOT sound good to ones wallet

dual is different on a legend. it has a lot more aggressive looking rear end, and depending on the model, its more powerful. unless youre running at least like 3"+ i just think its kinda stupid.

did anyone else notice the maxima kissing the lamp post?

i like the dual's thou. personally i think 2 dual tip mufflers would look better 2 single tips.

No they're split duals just like accords, tsx's and TL's none of those are true duals stock

plus i dought he is really pushing the kind of power nessecery to actually have the true duals. or maybe he is, i don't know this info. but even if its split after the cat, 2 muffler's is 2 muffler's

I am on my legend planning true dual's from the headers (well ypipe atleast since its crap and needs to be modded anyways) then a x-pipe and 1 pipe going to each muffler but first i'm planning on a supercharger.

like i said b4, i personally like dual's i'd rather see 2 dual tip muffler's then 2 single tip's. infact i'd rather see a dual tip muffler v. a single tip muffler.

oh and chris don't forget the dual's on the 2nd gen cl's those weren't true either from what i recal same with the new RL's oh and MDX's, what about RDX's? true duals on that?
