I feel the need to share this story, i told my friends but most of my friends feel a car is just a car.

So this guy that lives in the town i work at (Bristol, PA) is the owner of 2, count them ..1..2, Acura NSX's, The first one it looks like a 91-99 the paints going on it, nd its like never clean, but it sounds like an airplane, probably as fast as one too. The other is an 2004 silver 6 spd. This one looks like it should be on the showroom floor still. Well I see him all over when i am going to work, or just in Bristol. Well today I figured I would go to the local car show for once (the car shows here blow, bunch of old people with there chevys or like 20 year olds nd there ricers) and after a little browsing I see the Silver NSX. I am pretty sure I ran over there. I talked to the guy, I told him I drive an Acura which I think closed the deal, becuz he asked me if I knew how to drive standard. So I said yes, nd told him my first car was stick (it wasnt, i say that so people dont doubt my stick skills) well he said that i was welcome to drive it as long as I was 18.... EPIC FAIL. I was going to lie nd say i was but i figured its better to be safe (idk what kinda insurance he has) so i said i was only 17 nd that I was turning 18 soon, nd that I am planning on buying an NSX when i get back from Parris Island. Well as soon as he heard me say Parris Island he told me to get in because, and i quote, "Marines have special privileges." Well the Philly entrances to I-95 is about 5 miles from where we were at, so they guy took me to the 7-11 right by the entrance and we switched seats. He said that he wants to see me move through all six gears so I got onto the on ramp, nd just before i start to speed up he told me not to be worried that this thing wasnt built to be babied. Well I went from 40 to 80 in about 3 seconds flat, nd my head hit the headrest so hard i thought i broke it. I put it in sixth nd just chill in the center lane so the guy (whos name is Phil btw) told me that his wife babies the car this much, so i droped it into 5 nd floor it. I screamed by a guy in a beamer who i am pretty sure shit his pants. well thats the end of my early morning sex drive, I got off at the next exit nd we switched again. I told him about Azine nd he said he has browsed it, but theres no NSX section. I guess theres not enough NSX's around.

 

I didn't read the whole post (break up into paragraphs please), but AcuraZine now has an NSX section.

glad you got to drive on that wasnt slow. seemed like when i worked for acura every fuckin nsx that came in was shit and took for ever to get upto 60mph
