dropping the CL

Hello everyone, well I have decided that I want to drop my cl. Now I was needing to know what springs to buy so that I can install them without needing a camber correction kit. I am not replacing the shocks or struts tet, I will do that later. I want a drop so that I will be able to fit 17 in wheels on it later.
So it comes down to this, prkit or sportlines.

Prokit is your best bet.

The drop for the 2.2 is 1.3" (front and rear).

Check eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1853429066

The Sportlines have a 1.7" drop: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1853429738

I have the Pro-Kit on my 3.0 (1.4" drop due to the extra weight). No camber kit necessary.

I'm not sure if a camber kit is necessary with the Sportlines. I know that shatooi and 1genCL (amongst other) have sportlines, send them a PM to be sure.

If I were you I'd get the sportsline.........the prokit drop on a 2.3 isn't low enough. If you had a 3.0 I'd say go for the prokit.

This is my take on it, if you are going 17's you will want the sportlines, you will most likely need the camber kit though too. It's a great drop on 2.2-.3's. I have had both, and I needed a camber kit w/ both. All cars are different though. You could get the prokit and be fine, but then again, you may need a camber kit. The same story goes for the sportlines.
