Ban any purchase from Drivewire.com

On May 17th, 2006 I placed an order for Eibach pro-kit for my CL through Drivewire.com. After only a few minutes of placing the order, I phoned to cancel it. The response I got on the phone, was "OK, your order has been cancelled" and the salesman hung up. As I did not receive an email invoice or any other correspondence from Drivewire, I was sure the order was indeed cancelled. Yet, to my surprise, the springs showed up to my house. My credit card had also been charged for the part. I just reviewed the cancellation policy, and realize I never got a cancellation number, nor do I have an invoice of any sort from the company. I called the 800 number numerous times, and by the time I got an answer to leave a voice mail message to returns dept. I could not do so because the mailbox was full.

Their email response:
Please be advised we do not show any cancellation for this order nor do we see any reason why it was cancelled. Please fill out RMA form online and you will be responsible for shipping. Thanks.

Another intersting note. They just added these lines to their cancellation policy today!

"As soon as an order is placed over the website and the transaction is successful, we incur charges from the credit card processing company. Therefore, once you have placed an order by phone or the Internet and you wish to cancel an order, you will be subject to a 10% order-processing fee. If the order has already shipped, it will be treated as a new part return."

Also check out these reviews...I should have beforehand!

damn i read all the review on that company....damn thats not good business like...they have all kind of excuse not to take the item that they sent out wrong...and even force the customer to pay for shipping of the wrong item back to them out of the customers pocket. That company is a joke. I will never buy anything from them.

If they dont have your signature you can explain to your credit card company you cancelled they still charged and they should reverse it within 30 days.
