drivers window fell off tracks, help fixing it!

hey today i went to close my drivers side door and i believe the window cam off the tracks cause it won't respond to the switch ans i pushed it down all the way by hand, is there anyone who can step me through how to fix it? or should i go get it done professionally? also would it be cheaper to go to the dealership or am auto glass place?

are you sure it's not the switch? can you hear the motor? it's either the switch or the window motor most likely.

my car had the same problem sounded like. i had to drive all the way back to irvine from torrance with the window down! anywho, it was the window module that broke, so since it wasnt working, the window wasnt attached to the module anymore. i brought it to acura and it was covered under warranty, and he said it's common w our cars.
