DO IT YOURSEL RAM AIR DAMN!
wow.... i got alil creative and excited....
i just bought the AEM CAI system for 2001 CL-S i am expecting it thurs. and with lil mod it should fit great...
but i noticed that the plastic sheild at the bottom of the car restrict in comjing air... well, with alil imagination, creativity and labor, i creatived a ram air damn... using aluminum and gutter mesh, i molded the aluminum to the desired size and shape, double up the mesh and formed to to cover the front and cover the top of the aluminum.
i cut open the plastic and liquid nailed it together... now i have a secure, filtered ram air dam. The car picked up so much pep with the extra air!
just cant wait to get the new CAI system in!!!

The CAI for the 3.2 matched up with the bolts configuration on the 3.0 engine and fits in the engine compartment without rubbing anything? Just wondering thats why I am asking.

the pipe is shorter for rthe 3.2 suprisingly so i am using the stock rubber pipe to attach the by-pass valve then attach the tube & filter... it fits great... and if the bracket is a lil off, then therres nothing alil bending or self-tap screw cant handle...
by the way... is the accord CAI a 3" tubing?
