I think your PCV system is blocked, which would cause crankcase pressure to build. Crankcase pressure would bleed into air intake when pressure was enough. It could also cause your oil dipstick to push up. Clean or replace PCV and make sure PCV hose and air intake to valve cover hose is also clear.

good luck

this would probably explain why i found little bits of oil in the intake when i took out the stock intake and put in the sri. how would i clean out the pvc hose? just go get pipe cleaners and clean it out?

Wouldnt a blown motor cause that as well if compression is leaking into the bottom end?

A motor w/ poor compression rings would have large amount of gases bypassing the rings increasing crankcase pressure, and possibly overwhelming the PCV system causing positive pressure when engine vacuum is low (acceleration). I had a 90 Bronco which pushed oil back into the air intake because of this, but did not push the dipstick out.

PCV should be cleaned by blowing/flushing the hoses w/ mineral spirits or gasoline to clean any blockages. A new or cleaned PCV valve completes cleaning.

good luck

you have to much crankcase pressure. take the PCv and shake it if it rattles it works if not then replace it. easy fix should be like $5
