I just bought one today. I've seen it used before and the damn thing actually works. My friend used it on his 240 and it pulled 3 out of 5 dents.

I read some reviews of it. It works up to a certian degree. Like certain size ones can be pulled out, but it may take some pratice and multiple tries to do it. I think according to a lot of reviews the dent has to be about a size an orange and not too dented in. It basically not as easy as they suggest it to be.

I would advise against doing dents that require multiple pulls, it will leave ripple lines in the metal.

Would this thing work well for small door dings? Or should I pay $80 + for a PDR guy to do it?

I won't work for really small dings. Dings that are quarter size, forget about it.

it depends how long you've had your dent, metal likes to go back to the place that it has been in, but if you do it too late, then the metal has found a new "plase that it has been in" and it'll give you some unhappy results.
