Dealership bs?

I took my car to the Honda dealership b/c the guys who were messing w/ my tires @ Discount Tire said that my car was making the sound of a 747 (my words haha) because the bushings were messed up. The Honda guy showed me under the car - pardon for not taking pics, and asked me if I had any enemies! He said that the part which was loose was loose on purpose and that someone loosened it intentionally. He said the entire arm leading to the tire could have come off which would have been a major wreck. Is he telling the truth or talking bs to me?

* I know this is a TL, but @ least you can see the part I'm talking about. The loosened bolt was in the front holding back what looks like a big washer.

It's pretty possible that someone messed with your car. Someone took off all the lug nuts from one of my wheels at night as i was hanging out with a friend, i didn't take a look at the car before i drove and the wheel came off, damaging the rear bumper... i have no idea why someone would do that since i don't go around making enemies... some people are just jerks at the very core.

Ex-Boyfriend perhaps? Otherwise, something might have just come loose. My front passenger side control and strut arm colapsed from my bushings disintegrating

idk, it could be possible, but who would know if enough to loosen that part. i doubt even 1/4 of the population knows a goddamn enough about cars to go for that.

Lord knows I can't draw haha

But no, I don't have any enemies! My ex is currently in Costa Rica on vacation and I've been dating the same guy for almost 3 years now. But you're right, I doubt the majority of the population knows to loosen that.

I'm confused, was it a control arm or the subframe?

I want to say it's where the control arm connects to the subframe, but I don't know the underside of my car very well.

He has a point. I would have never gone for that. If someone wanted to kill you... I would just cut your breaks.
