Thanks for the pictures man, they look nice considering the conditions. I'll get mine up sometime in the next day or so. Shatooi, Bigbrother, 1genCL, Nomad - it was great! We must do it again and soon. Hopefully the weather wil be better and we can get a larger turnout of CL'S.

I say lets start shooting for the first weekend in March, and lets throw out some places we coulod possible meet at.

1 - University of Maryland College Park Campus
2 - Arundel Mills Mall - again!
3 - Chantilly Expo Center
4 - Camden Yards
5 - Potomac Park in Washington, DC - also known as Hains Point
6 - George Mason University

These are just suggestions, any body else have any, please post them.

Where were the VA Cl'ers on Saturday?

I think we should keep it on the MD side. Only MD folks attended this weekend, and most of us had a 45 minute ride to get to Arundel Mills (and in the freakin' snow)!

From what I understand, the last (fully attended) meet was in VA (Fairfax or something).

Anyway, like I said: "I go anywhere". But I just needed to clarify myself.

Great meet! And this was a functional meet too!!
Let's not forget the "sub-zero, bare-handed, got-to-have-it-on-before-leaving-here" dissasembly of 1GenCL's front grill to install the reflective "A" .

Or how about dustbuster4's very informative "let me show you where the Venom 400 module is.... $%#^&*@!!!! I JUST DROPPED THE SCREW!!! " learning session.

I personally thought my ride-along with 1GenCL was very instructional:
After watching the critical action elements of "Fast and Furious" on DVD he proceeded to show me the finer points of how to chase down Mall Security... do wild donuts in front of him at 2G's and then shake security off our tail during the get-away. ... I'll be studying my notes on that one.

Among other important elements such as:
"how long will it take our hands to go numb during a snowball-fight".... (answer: 30 sec.)
and pondering "various paint-care products and their resistance to snow".... (dajuice w/Zaino wins)
we awaited the findings of Shatooi's research into wether it was possible to drive from Towson to Arundel Mills Mall at under10 MPH. (answer: yes, it's possible)

I think we all learned the most valuable lesson in our three-hour blizzard stand-off, that I will personally never forget...

"Blue Balls" CAN appear from entirely non-sexual circumstances!

That's a riot!

Yeah, man! This WAS an informative meet. We also learned that CL owners are a breed of uniquely derranged human beings! :P

 

I say when we plan the next meet we should plan it for Saturday and if the weather is TERRIBLE (not just a little snowy) then we can plan on doing it on Sunday. That way we have a small back-up plan so we won't have to wait a lon time between meets.

the bay area meet was kinda small this past weekend... 2 1st gens came out..me and Cilver2.3. no pix tho.. next time for sure! =)

Off the top of my head I think they were sportlines by Eibach wich would make it about 2". Give or take a little.
I really like that drop.

Sorry I didn't get a chance to make it to the meet. I live 15 minutes from Arundel mills. I'll figure stuff out next time. You should've canceled it and rescheduled cuz i'm coming back on Thursday. Def next time .....

 

After seeing those pics all I got to say is thank God I live in Miami were its always hot. Maybe one of these days I'll finally get to see snow for the first time. Till then I'll be chilling on the beach in the middle of winter.

 

My pick is #3 only because I live in South Riding! ha!

Sorry that I couldn't make it out on Saturday to the meeting. Although the snow wasn't bad and the roads were fine I decided to play in the snow instead!

If there's something going on at the Expo center there's always the vacant Walmart parking lot on rt. 28 (where the races are held on the weekends).

plus mall does have shitty lots, they are mainly garages not flat big lots .................

Arundel Mills i think is the best idea so far !

Camdon yards is not fare to people from DC and VA , really good for MD so thast why i think is not good place.
