dc headers

dc headers

so i was looking at tasauto.com and i was curious about some headers. i found they have a set of dc headers for a 3 liter. would these be ok for our cars. i didnt find anything in the search area.. anybody have any info

the DC headers for the V6 accord from 98-02 should fit the 3.0 CLs
they are carb exempt and like 400$

ha yeah i just noticed that. i was thrown off i guess by the CLs, i thought he meant the second geners. are these a good set of headers.

Comptech = $1000+
DC = $400+
XS-power = $100

all of them will produce relatively similar gains
Comptech never have any issues with resonance and fitment and weld quality

heard DC were good never really seen much about them

XS have fitment issues that can be resolved, are made of thinner metal so you can hear the exhaust flow and some people call this resonance, but what do you expect for $100, the welds may break if too much pressure is on them due to bad installation

most people either shell the money for comptech or go the cheap way with XS

well they will be the first major performance mod done in the spring. other than my k&n filter. but right now im broke as hell. trying to complete my suspension for now. but i will let everyone know asap

carb exempt. meaning you can pass smog with these? i didnt think there were any headers for our car that passed smog//street legal

comptech and DC are the only 2 that are carb exempt that i know of
but ya im in texas so i dont really worry much
