dash squeeking is making me crazy!!!
this just started this week and is driving me insane. it is coming from the right passenger side corner right next to the speaker. has anyone had a similar problem? is there a simple remedy? i was thinking of shoving something down there to tighten up the space, which will prevent movement and rubbing thereby eliminating noise... the lightbulb at the acura dealership told me to spray silicon spray into the corner. i didn't think that was such a good idea given proximity to speaker. any suggestions are appreciated, tahnks...
I've never experienced a rattle there but i have had one for a while right infront of me where the spedo cover is and the black plastic that butts
up to it...anyone elce have a rattle there?? ( i think there was a recall about that one..maybe not..

ive also got one on the drivers door where the alarm light thingy is up where on other cars the lock is at. does ne1 know how to fix these?
Fixing squeeks is just a matter of finding the area and tightening it up or lube (WD-40). I have the same one in the corner. I don't know any other way except to take off the kickpanel and drive around the block to see if it still happens.
If yes, you know now to look at something inside the panel so use process of elimination or just tighten up everything that looks loose, like placing a wedge here or adjust a screw there.
If no, then you know it has to do with the kickpanel and were it attaches. Again, wedge something in there to tighten it up.
