Well I searched and I could find was really bad new about my tranny craping out on me. But its weird b/c i dont have any jerks. Whats else could it be?? My car is running fine. D4 blinked I pulled over and turned off the car and then when i started it up again it did not come back up????

 

Btw what a good present my car gave me for christmas if it is my tranny.

 

if it went away and there are no problems thendo't worry about it. It could just be some random mistaken error code.

If it comes back, then go to an autozone and have them pull the code.

 

Could be a random mistake, but sounds like your tranny is going

 

Code may still be stored in trans control unit memory. You can pull the code by shorting the service check connector (2 wire blue connector under glove box) and watching the D4 light blink the code; long flash for 10's digit and short flash for units digit, w/ long pause between multiple codes or repeat of single code. Codes 1-9 are only short flashes.

It hasnt flashed since the last time i posted????? But im still scared.....i seriously dont know what to do. To either sell my car before tranny goes out or just wait and then wait some more...
Now that im workin at a bmw dealer and could get amazing deals. I just dont know wether to keep it any longer. Any advice??

when that happened to my car i blew a shift selenoid

 

could be pressure sensor, could be shift solenoid.. only way to know is to get the code like texas honda said to earlier.. the code will be there.

 

could be your speed sensor, my old accord did that id be driving and the D would blink. replaced speed sensor and problem solved. if yours only does it once in a blue moon wait till it happens constantly then replace it.
