D4 doesnt light up after work on cluster

1997 acura CL 3.0

hey guys so i opened up the whole cluster assembly and messed around with it, for educational purposes, i took the plexi glass off and took each section off as well ,ie,the fuel gauge, speedo, the rpm gauge, and the temp. gauge. then i put them back togther and reversed the whole process till everything was back in place.

i test drove the vehicle, and everything started working like it should except the D4 light.

when i engage p,r,n,d3,d2,d1 they all light up except D4

im assuming i somehow blew the light for D4 when i was moving parts around.

any other reasons you can think of?

Well, if it worked before you opened up the cluster and it didn't after you opened it up, I'd say it has something to do with you opening up the cluster

Nah, but you'll probably have to pull out the cluster again and make sure the bulb hasn't come loose. I don't remember if those bulbs are soldered in or not.

it means an error has been detected by the TCM (trans control mod). You need to retrieve the DTC to find out what is causing it. Diagnostic trouble codes (or fault codes) are codes that are stored by the on-board computer diagnostic system. These are stored in response to a problem found in the car by the system. or maybe its a faulty alternator?

buddi,i could see that happening, but this issue came up as a result of me taking apart the cluster.there shouldnt be any trouble codes stored.

so i think i broke the bulb?

Open it back up, and swap the D4 light with a known working light, d3 ect.... that will narrow down the bulb problem.
