becuase getting the parts isnt the easiest thing i dont see how a group buy would be possible. the reason i charge $150 is cuz parts are about $40-50 and i will spend an easy 6-10 hrs on them. its alot harder then u think. more than just cutting a hole in the reflector of the housing. i feel im doing it cheap. if u sont want any kind of aiming then ill do it for $100.

They look rad, i cant wait to see the pics of yours on your CL. What model VW were those ripped from, i cant think of projectors other than the passat, but those are essentially audi projectors correct? I want to see a comparison of the VW vs BMW. Do yours give off the colors at diff angles like that, I LOVE EM!

mine are audi tt projecotors or bmw e34. they lense itslef is 1" bigger than the ones in customcl's lights. mine light up pure white on the road and bright white/ purple if ur lookin at them. diff angles sometimes i see yellow and blue. it looks like a beamer from far away unil u get closer and see the cat like look of the cl.
remixnzza i can do it, but overnight shipping is mad expensive so if u had another car that would help. sometimes i can provide parts. ballasts, bulbs, projectors. but right now i dont have a pair of anything yet. if u want i can prewire a harness with relay and fuse and wiring instructions. u dont want a kit. u need oem d2s parts from audi, bmw, lexus, honda s2000
i will provide all new pics of my setup completed in less than 2 weeks. ill show u everything from inside the hood, wiring, mounts, day picss on and off, night pics, beam pattern, etc. my car is in nj and im in pa. got to wait till spring break march 7 - 19.

That is SWEEEEET!!!!!!!
Would you be willing to do it for my 02 TL-S?? Also, does it require taking apart the headlamp to install it correctly? And will you adjust the beam pattern?
Since I already have factory HID, all I would really need is the projector itself. Correct?

the whole housing need to be taken apart. the prob with ur setup is u have d2r bulbs. it will work but the light output of a d2s is far superior. i dont know if ur oem ballast can be used with a d2s. also i would be gald to do somethin nice for you cept the prob is i dont have ur car and any unforseen fitment issues i cant correct until its too late. on a 1st gen i check it out on my car first. gettin a projector in there is no prob, its will it fit back into ur car not hit anything or get in the way of things like corner bulbs etc.

Well, I upgraded my HID to 6000K D2S anyway. So no worry about that.
Hmm..fitment issues......How long does the projector itself protude out? Or are they different by model and make?
Hmmm....Maybe I can ask you to do the install for me..and I can aim it myself. How do you aim the lights? And what do you use to hold the projector in place?
Or I can be daring and try it all myself.. I know I'll mess something up.
E-mail me. I would like to pursue this further. ray@acura-tl.com

any bmw xenon projector will work. when i say fitment its not the projector that presents a prob. its the mounts. in order to add the ability to aim them slightly it gets complicated. i could just line them up centered and you ll be fine, but if u drop ur car u will prob want them aimed a little higher. heres a pic of custom cls mounts before i finished.
that setup utilizes the oem mounts. i cant really cut the housing anymore to push the projector in any more cuz then it will hit the relflector and if i cut out almost the whole reflector several probs will arise.
1. the high and low will be completely diff
2. i will need to construct some kind of new piece.
since i dont have the bmw headlights the projectors came out of i cant steal their nice reflector pieces. im trying to keep it as simple as possible to keep cost down. i could cut the whole back of the low reflector out but i doubt ppl want to pay over $800 for an install so i can get bmw complete headlamps, or audi etc. and more custom work on my part will be at least $300 for my time. i dont have the means to keep gettin my hands on complete headlamps. ill try but it wont be often.

Bro Im confused.. What HID can I use then? Does it have to be a 9006 HID combined with a projector from an audi/lexus/bwm? Or does it have to be the HID unit from the projector I decide to go with?

see fu how u been? hows the xenon retro fit biz going? im only messin with acura cls. college got me broke. need to get my car back on the road.
these are xenon d2s projectors and u need that bulb, a 9006 kit will not work. and even if u have the d2s bulb the connectors on ur kit wont work on it.
