I currently have a AEM CAI and want to either replace the current filter or find a way to clean it. It cost $20 for a K&N filter cleaning kit and $25 for a brand new filter. I would like to just clean my current filter and not buy either! --does anyone have any advise on cleaning the filter? Or products that are cheaper than $20 bucks!! thanks!

 

Well the cleaner is good for two cleans so..Think of it like 10 per cleaning.

 

i get my k&n cleaning kit for $12, so i say clean it

 

I have used my kit to clean my filter 3 times already and still got some product left. Get the little bit bigger kit and it is more economical that way.

acurapowered- i just bought it from a local car shop. I was surprised as well because normally they're rather expensive (Car Boutique). It's the genuine K&N brand cleaning kit good for 2 uses
