I don't know what's going on--first Casper agrees with me in the new tire thread, and now I agree with him. A GOOD paint job (one that's worthy of gracing our awesome automobile) will run you a lot of money. I've spent over $1000 just getting a quarterpanel repainted, because it's a laborious process to strip, color match, paint (several layers), clear coat (several layers), and bake. Sure you could probably get it done for a couple grand, but how would it look? How would it look a few years down the road?
