Custom Front grill

I just made my front grill. I ordered the 97 grill, cut out the mesh, paited the mesh part black and installed. Looks Great....

I have mesh on the bottom behind the stock plastic "grill"(where the fog lights mount),I want to put the mesh on the bottom infront of the stock plastic grill... Where can I mount the gutter gaurd? How do I get it inplace? any advice would be helpfull..
thanks

Sounds like it came out well. Do you have any pics of your car?

CLICK THE WWW BUTTON, BOTTOM GRILLE PIC IS NOT THAT CLEAR BUT YOU JUST HAVE TO FIT IT IN AND YOU SHOULD HAVE ABOUT AN 1 OR SO OF MESH ON TOP AND BOTTOM THAT YOU CAN FOLD INWARD. CUT OUT SLOTS ON THE FOLDED PART FOR THE PLASTIC TO SLIP IN. ROUND OFF THE EDGES OR CUT FOR THE FOGS IF YOU ARE PUTTING IN AND YOU CAN TIE WRAP IT AT FIRST THEN USE SOME EPOXY TO GLUE IT ONE WHERE YOU THINK NO ONE CAN SEE. TAKE THE LICENSE PLATE OFF FIRST.

i got mine from www.ahmotor.com ... it was 27.95 for the chrome ring and 27.95 for the center black peice. you dont need all the other shit. I went to the dealer for the screws to mount the chrome on the grill and they asked 4.98 a screw so I went to my local Hardware store and found self taping screw that fit. I will post PICS once the weather is nicer and my fogs and bottom grill is installed.

Dust
those are some pretty good prices. Cheaper than what i paid.

You'll need (parts list from acuraautomotiveparts.net) Illustration #1 and #4 for the grill to attach correctly to the car (#3 isn't necessary, but I've seen good looking custom grills with it on). As for the screws, it sounds like what FrstGenCL did worked, so get the screws from Home Depot or a hardware store.

Limmerz: It depends on how you want the custom grill to look to determine which parts you'll need. You definitely need the black plastic grill and the outter chrome trim ring. I personally like the logo/wings (which can be mounted over top of the gutter guard), but you don't need it.

Good Luck!
