Hi guys! me again! You guys are so ressourcefull that I can`t stop looking all around here.

But now I have a question I can't find any answers.

In the CL we are planning to buy, as said in another topic, there is the F20B in it.

Normally, the cable from the cruise control diaphragm go straight to the throttle body and that`s it. I mean, all my accord in the past and the one I have right now are like this.

But what I saw in the CL, the cable wasn't connected directly to the throttle. It was a little further, like 1 inch further. Do the CL have a kind of 2 throttle???

I don't have any pics of the car... we forgot to take some

But is any of you have engine bay pictures? this way I could see and show what I am talking about?

yeah, engine is not the OEM one. We are getting the car tomorrow. So i'll show what I am talking about.

hmmm... related to your f20b questions.
a member on here did the f20b swap with an auto f22 tranny
his name is "Yurhomieblaze", i'd suggest to PM him, but i don't think you can since you just joined, might have to wait a couple weeks before you can PM
just thought i'd let you know that you're not completely alone with that engine in a cl
you could probably look for a thread of his on the swap and ask a couple questions there if you want

F20b? Is it auto? if so, then it's most likely Yurhomieblaze lol.

naw it's not auto. And the car they are buying is in
whereas Yurhomieblaze is located in CO :detective
...and back to the cruise control discussion

the f20b is a destroked H22 with an iron bottom end. the top end is pretty much indentical.therefore when people swapped H22s into CLs, most deleted the CC because the bracket on the TB is different. u need the 1997-2001 prelude throttle cable i think, along with bracket that is attached to ur IM.

Here is the picture of what I was talking about



As you can see, in the blue circle, this is the stantard throttle. I mean, every car have it there.

But in the red circle, there is a "fake" throttle and this is where the Cruise Control cable is connected.

After we check yesterday, this is 100% fake. I mean, if we activated the cruise, there is nothing hapened and i've played with and still, this is a "nothing to do" peice. I just can't figure why someone put it there.

I'll have to change the parts to correct the thing and get Kiwi's back a REAL cruise control.
