I was outside my car with the system going and I noticed a weird vibration coming for the tunk area. When went to check it out I noticed that the center column of the spoiler was cracked half way. Has anyone have this had with their spoilers? I am not sure if its over tighening on the screws or my system, but I am guessing my system.

If you still under warrenty, get it fixed/replace at ur local dealer.

Buy the after markey spoiler for a civic. hmmm i think its on vxcl's website. find him and ask him.

VXCL has the stock CL spoiler. I checked out some other CL today and noticed that it was cracking as well, so now I am wondering if this is some sorta defect or something.

actually its a wings west oe wing. i put it on myself. i can see how the overtightning of the screws could easily do that. try calling some junk yards or maybe if u take the wing off urself a body shop could fix it up for u cheap.

Mine's cracked too!! I told the dealership and they told me it is out of warranty, but now I can show them it is happening to other ppl and maybe they will do something about it... mines cracked in the identical place as KikazCl97's spoiler. They are telling me it is something I did, cheap bastards.

can u cirle the crack on that pic. i think i see what ur talkin about but im not sure. if ur talkin about the hole on the bottom its supposed to be there but i doubt that is it. i think i see a crak in the upper left.

I can try when I Get home, but if you look where that hole is at and then look to the right along the base there is a white line, that is my crack.

I took my car to the dealership and I still have a warranty for about 3 more months, but they said that it was an aftermarket spoiler and that my warranty wont cover it. I guessed why they but an aftermarket spoiler on my car and the guy told me that if the sales department can get the factory spoiler for less from somewhere else they will. Unfornity they dont they people this and the aftermarket spoiler only has a 2 year or 12,000 mile warranty.
